Isaac leads to 5-cent gas price spike

This article reminds me of Gage's WHIPS presentation today about the government and environment awareness. Due to Hurricane Isaac, the shipment of oil to the gulf coast is makes it extremely hard to do. This caused the spike of gas prices in many states today. The price hike might be temporary due to Hurricane Isaac but it is no surprise that gas prices are on a roller coaster ride. It is evident that when gas prices are increasing, people find alternatives to save money and gas such as carpooling or using public transportation making it better for the environment. If gas prices continue to rise, less people are relying on gas stations. At this rate, the government will take the initiative to find cleaner and alternate ways to fuel transportation.
